Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: Last updated 2026-09-19 · Version: 2026-09-19
1. The short version
Use Tomonagi to run your business honestly. Do not use it to break the law, to hurt people, to attack the platform, or to send messages people did not ask for. Everything below is detail on those four ideas.
2. Prohibited content
Content that is illegal where you or your customers are; that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, or privacy; that is defamatory, harassing, or threatening; that sexualizes minors; that promotes violence or terrorism; that contains malware or phishing; or that is deceptive about who you are or what you sell.
3. Prohibited conduct
Sending unsolicited messages (see the Anti-Spam & Messaging Policy); collecting or using personal data without a lawful basis; using the Service for a regulated activity you are not licensed for; reselling or sharing your account beyond what your plan allows; circumventing plan limits, rate limits, or security controls; probing, scanning, or load-testing the Service without written permission; scraping other customers' pages; and using the AI features to generate content that this policy forbids.
4. Uploaded files
You may upload documents, images, PDFs, spreadsheets, and similar files that you own or have the right to use. You keep ownership; you give us only the license in the Terms of Service needed to store, display, and process them for you. Uploads are scanned for size and type; we do not open or review your files unless you ask for support, we receive a complaint, or the law requires it. See the Copyright & DMCA Policy for how we handle infringement claims.
5. Fair use of shared resources
Plans include limits on records, storage, messages, and AI usage. Patterns of use that degrade the Service for others — sustained automated traffic far outside normal use, storage of files unrelated to running your business, or repeated hits on rate limits — may be throttled while we talk to you about a plan that fits.
6. Enforcement
We prefer a conversation to a lock-out and will normally warn you first. For clear or dangerous violations we may remove content, pause a feature, suspend the workspace, or terminate the account without notice, and we may notify authorities where the law requires. Report violations to jbyron@tomonagi.com.
