Payment Terms

Effective: Last updated 2026-09-19 · Version: 2026-09-19

1. We are not a payment processor

Javill Byron, doing business as Tomonagi does not hold, transmit, or settle funds. When a business collects a payment through the Service, the payment is processed by the payment processor that business has connected under its own merchant agreement — Stripe, Square, Clover, or PayPal — and the funds settle to the business's account with that processor. We pass the request to the processor and record the result.

2. For businesses collecting payments

You must have your own account in good standing with the processor you connect and comply with its terms, including PCI obligations that apply to you. You are the merchant of record: your name appears on the payer's statement, and you are responsible for pricing, taxes, receipts, refunds, chargebacks, and any dispute with your customer. We may disable a payment connection if the processor tells us it has been suspended or if we see it used for something the Anti-Spam & Messaging Policy or Acceptable Use Policy forbids.

3. For people paying a business

The page you pay on is hosted by us; the card form is served by the processor and your full card number never reaches our servers. The charge is from the business, not from Tomonagi. For a refund, a receipt question, or a dispute, contact the business first; if you cannot resolve it, your card issuer's dispute process is available to you.

4. Fees

The processor charges its own fees to the business under the business's agreement with it. Tomonagi does not add a per-transaction fee on top of the processor's fee. Our subscription fees for the Service are described in the Terms of Service and billed separately through PayPal.

5. Records

We keep a record of each payment request and its outcome (amount, status, processor reference, timestamps) in the business's workspace so that invoices and quotes reconcile. We do not keep card numbers, bank numbers, or security codes.
